Shirtquoia

Having pulled off one of the greatest closet thefts of all time, Sequoia giddily enjoys her forbidden new threads.

Busted by the parental authorities, Sequoia applies the dog eyed defense glance.

Tissuequoia

Adjusting her diaper with excitement, Sequoia engages in her favorite sport: tissue tearing.

With a subtle grace rare amongst any athelete in the diaper bracket, Sequoia contorts into a double pull, pump and twist.

Unable to contain herself any longer, Sequoia leans her entire torso and wriggles in the aloey goodness.

As the tissues pile ever higher, Sequoia eventually concludes her only recourse is to chew her way out.

Fair Parkquoia

Festooned in her finest spring frock, Sequoia contemplates the cycles of death and rebirth by exploring the fresh and dessicated leaves at hand.

Sequoia's concentration is suddenly interrupted by the invading digits of an equally curious Maverick toddler.

Sequoia's fair thoughts are no match for the grubby paws as Maverick reaches into Sequoia's mind and snatches the contemplation for himself.

Parkquoia

Engulfed by a gargantuan plastic worm Sequoia and her mother smile and charm their way out of the segmented beast's gaping maw.

Sequoia stands to attention as the maternal duo gaze towards the enclosure of Betsy the red fox while visiting the Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue.

Swimquoia

Sequoia smiles demurely as she displays her stylish new swimwear. Secretly she frets about the mystery hand that is picking her toejam.

"Behold, for I am master of all the murky depths. Now shlep me to the shallows, faithful nymphette J-nel."

Having decisively conquered the seas, Sequoia launches forward in an all out claim upon the sky.

April Flashback: Sequoia's facial dominance

Auntie Amy and Stephanie gently encourage wee Sequoia to smile. Sequoia sassily rejects them both with doubletime "talk to the hand".

Dan takes a more hands-on approach with equally unsatisfactory results.

Succumbing to Sequoia's overbearing expressionlessness, Dan and Stephanie fall in line.

Sequoia's Serenading suitors

Valentin woos Sequoia with the gentle ballad "Some day our food will be as solid as this love."

Not to be outdone, Maverick swoops in exposing his manly chest belting out "Squeaky stroller boogie".

For the moment Sequoia sits dumbfounded by the attention, but later she discovers blocks are more fun than boys anyway.

Granda Tony finally arrives!

After an elongated absence Grandfather "Papa Tony" finally arrives on the photoblog scene. Enraptured, Sequoia copies his hearty smile in seconds!

Smiling technique successfully mimicked, Sequoia wanders off to explore other expression adventures.

Sequoia and the Dixie cup dungeon

Alas and Alack! Sequoia is imprisoned in a Dixie Cup dungeon.
What nefarious beast would commit such an henious act of anti-babyism? Why the brute Bruce the Brontosaurus was so infuriated at Sequoia's dinosaur impression (see last post) that he constructed the waxy enclosure to punish our cheeky heroine.
Who will save her from this pitiful paper enclosed fate?

Sequoia (a proper post-modert feminist) realizes she needs no knightly rescue. Sequoia makes short work of dastardly Bruce (see background) and smiles with glee at the task ahead.

With a swift hand and a mighty blow Sequoia makes short shrift of the main Dixie gate.

Demonstraiting the strength of an infantile herculean, Sequoia lays waste to the starboard wall.

A message from Sequoia " Beware my might and cast aside all notions of envious retribution for I, Sequoia, shall continue to dress as a dino whenever I see fit."
